This is the best album ever written by type o negative. I love it.

This album is wonderful. Some people might be a little offended by the violence depicted in the songs, but take it with a grain of salt. As Pete Steele said, "anyone with an IQ in the double digits can distinguish satire."-- or something like that. Although it is definitely metal, this album cannot be categorized any further. It's a beautiful piece of work which shows anger and distress in its plainest form; however, the negative feelings do not override the music. It is not a lot of banging and crashing of notes, (although there is a fair amount of banging and crashing of other large objects). It is a very haunting mix of classical chanting, metal riffs, and tortured screaming offset in the next movement with gorgeous vocals.

"I Know Your F##king Someone Else rules" aka Unsucessfully Coping With The Natural Beauty Of Infidelity". Some women might be offended, though.

Great album...a lot more raw than the future releases. A lot better than Bloody Kisses and a helluva lot better than October Rust....
