Comments for Uriah Heep, The Lansdowne Tapes

Spice preceded Uriah Heep. Members included David Byron, Mick Box, Paul Newton and Alex Napier. This disc has a numer of early Spice recordings, plus rough mixes of early Urah Heep sessions. The Lansdowne Tapes were found a few years ago and remixed for this disc. Excellent sound quality, some unusual arrangements on the Spice tunes, a Three Dog Night cover and pre-final edit Heep tunes make this a must for the true fan!
