I THINK IT TAKES LISTENING TO THIS DISC ABOUT 20 TIMES TO REALLY GET IT LYRICALY, BUT THE MUSIC KICKS ASS. PROBABLY NOT THEIR BEST WORK,BUT NOT BAD EITHER. BESIDES,WHO AM I TO JUDGE THE GREATEST AMERICAN ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME?

Love the Disc, Love the tour even better. VH3 is the best live show on the market!

I think that this album proved that VH is not just a guitar player. Gary Cherone doesn't have a good rock n roll voice--which is why the album is all ballads. Ed and Al and Mikey need too think about what they did in 1996. I am a huge Dave fan, but i would rather see Sammy in there than Gary. The music sucks, for rock. My mom enjoyed some of the songs on it, but she's 63 years old. You all mark my words, this will be one of the last 3 records Van Halen will put out as a group unless Dave(please) or Sammy are brought back. This album is the beginning of the end for VH. Warner Bros. is gonna drop them and Ed is gonna become a session man!

How''s this album? I''d be interested in knowing if it was worth it.
An OK album. Definitly one of the worst VH albums ever, but still a decent album.

i think that the album is going in anew direction as in life everthing changes and thinking they should not change is close minded there taking ther time to make sure that the singer who ever it may be is solid just as the band my hats off to edward and the boys they really care about there music thats why its takeing so long to get a front man that works with the band instead of working against them so when it kicks off they will take there place at the top where they belong so we need to be patient and it will be worth waiting for as always

I agree with JAKE5150 about this album! While it is not the best album they put out, it is certainly the most adventerous they have done, and it is a shame that people cannot accept change! I just got done looking at the Deep Purple comments, and they are saying the same things about Blackmore, and how they can't stand Steve Morse in the band! C'mon, thank god that people have the balls to soldier on even after something like Hagar leaving!
