THE BEST song ever written, in my humble opinion: Sweet Thing. Do you want musical nirvana? Give it a listen!

One of his best. Very hypnotic. Underrated classic - a 10.

Its mellow and relaxing definately one of his best
From the slipcover notes -- Astral Weeks was released in November 1968, shortly after Morrison embarked on a solo career. Cut in New York City in less than two days, Astral Weeks is one of the innovative and influential albums of the era. Without any obvious hit singles, Astral Wweks nevertheless features some of Morrison`s more enduring work, including "Cyprus Avenue," "The Way Young Lovers Do" and the poignant story-in-song "Madame George."Angela`s Comments -- features my all-time favorite Van Morrison song, "The Way Young Lovers Do," an upbeat and whimsical love song spotlighting the refrain (in part) "And we sat on our own star/ And dreamed of the way we were and the way we wanted to be/ .... And dreamed of the way I was for you and you were for me."
