Comments for Van Morrison, Enlightenment

This is definitely one of, if not my favorite, of the Van albums. "Real, Real Gone" has a lively energy not often found in Van's work. My favorites are definitely "So Quiet In Here" and "In the Days Before Rock'n' Roll." The lyrics are also a bit more positive than on most of the brooding Irishman's albums in my opinion. "This must be what paradise is like, baby..................."

For those who only know Van Morrison by the song "brown eyed girl", this is a great album to rediscover Van Morrison. It has a great spiritual and mystic quality about it.
