Comments for Belafonte, Harry, Belafonte at Carnegie Hall

The original RCA Victor double album LSO-6006 included four (4) additional tracks: Take My Mother Home Man Piapa All My Trials Merci Bon Dieu RCA/BMG neglects to mention this on the compact disc re-release which is unfortunate because these tracks were significant to the original 1959 live performance. The CD purposely strikes out the cover reference "The Complete Performance" when they should have clearly stated "Selections from. . ." or perhaps, even, "The Incomplete Performance"! RCA/BMG have not been honest with the re-release of this spectacular recording, recorded at Carnegie Hall, April 19th and 20th, 1959, and engineered by RCA''s own Bob Simpson.
