Comments for Visage, Beat Boy

BEAT BOY is the third and the last in the Visage trilogy. Midge Ure,Billy Currie, and Dave Formula are no longer in the band, but thelater two do make guest appearances on this album. Over all, Ifound this album to be the least interesting of the three, mainly dueto uncreative/bland songwriting. I wouldn`t say it`s a particularly badrecord, but it does lack some lustre. It`s a lot more `beatboxy` andsample oriented (thanx to J. J. Jeczalik and his Fairlight) comparedto the other albums.----Bottom Line: I think the songwriting and soundof their previous efforts prove to be of much better quality, but this albumis fair for what it is.

Absolutely one of the best synth-albums out there... except you can't get it on CD out there... anywhere!! Neither is the case with the sole album from Steve Strange next project "Strange Cruise".
