Comments for Voivod, Angel Rat

This one is comercial , groovy , but very enjoyable. And weird...

This is one of Voivod`s best albums. While not as heavy asKilling Technology or Dimension Hatross, it has a spaceysound to it. It is a lot different than all previous albumsand some thought it was a bit too commercial sounding butif you listen, the old voivod elements are still there. Amust have for every Voivod fan.

This and Nothingface are my two most favorite Voivod albums. Angel Rat is a true gem. Unfortunetly, I think voivod started digressing after this album - going for a more 80's metal/dated sound. I hope they get more experimental again - but then again, what do I know.
