I wanna get some, I wanna get some, I wanna get some, I wanna get some modern lovin'. A decent album...the best tracks are Rotten Soul, I Wanna Get Some, The Pretty Faces, and Rocket Engines.

this showed the world where the real future and evolution of junk punk rock was. Pity was no one paid any attention. Playboys showed us all how to live JuNk TheJuNk band followed WS all over the uk practically.

This is a great record ( one of the best of the nineties! ) My favourite tracks are 'Let's get wasted' ( great intro ) and Television ( feel all the energy when Korry screams the chorus ). There'll be one day when everybody is wondering why they didn't see it then : Warrior Soul, THE space age playboys!!

It's really too bad that Warrior Soul came into existence at the same time coffee shop rock did. They're a breath of fresh air in this era of overinflated,self-infatuated complainers like Eddie Vedder. "Space Age Playboys" never got a shot. Anyone into White Zombie, Prong,etc. I've played the album for has liked it, and anyone into todays pseudo-punk would get an education about the real thing.

THE SPACE AGE PLAYBOYS ARE A REAL BAND NOW. KORYS NEW BAND. A GREAT BAND. HIGH ENERGY THAT NEVER LETS UP. MODERN TEXTURE, WITH A FUN, DOWN TO EARTH (SO TO SPEAK) FUTURISTIC STANCE. BALLSY?? THEY DEFINE IT. THEY'VE PLAYED THREE SHOWS TO DATE. THE MINT, THE OPIUM DEN, AND BILLBOARD LIVE. BILLBOARD LIVE WAS TONIGHT 6/20/97. THEY WERE SCHEDULED ORIGINALLY TO OPEN THE NIGHT ON A THREE BAND BILL WITH THE DICKIES HEADLINING. THEN A FOURTH BAND "TONGUE" WAS ADDED AND THE SPACEAGE PLAYBOYS WERE MOVED UP TO A 30 MINUTE MAX SET STARTING AT 7:30. (IT'S NOT EVEN FUCKING DARK YET!)THEY BURNED!!!! IT WAS GREAT. (OF COURSE THERE WERE 7 PEOPLE THERE BECAUSE NOBODY IN LA EVEN GETS OFF WORK TIL 8:00.) DESPITE THE THIN HOUSE, ALL IN ATTEN- DANCE WERE SCREAMING BY THE END OF THE FIRST SONG, INCLUDING ALL OF THE STAFF. THE SOUND WAS GREAT (AS USUAL) THE LIGHTS LOOKED REALLY GOOD, AND THE BILLBOARD LIVE HAS A HOUSE VIDEO CAMERA SYSTEM (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVN'T BEEN THERE.) AND THE GUY WHO DOES IT IS REALLY GOOD. SO THERE IS A COPY OF THE SPACE AGE PLAYBOYS THIRD SHOW. WHETHER OR NOT A COPY OF THIS WILL EVER BE MADE, I DON'T KNOW. BUT IT'S SPECTACULAR IN CASE ANYONE EVER SEES IT. (IF COPIES DO GET MADE.) ANYWAY ITS WAS A GREAT SHOW AND THROUGHOUT MORE PEOPLE SHOWED UP BUT BY 8:00 IT WAS OVER SO MOST OF THE PEOPLE COMING TO SEE THE SPACE AGE PLAYBOYS HAD MISSED THE SET. It's great to see some other folks out there who actually give a shit about my favourite band of all time. Basically this album fuckin' shreds from start to finish - 50 odd minutes of a brilliant, pure adrenaline rocket ride. Still blows my mind that they could be virtually unknown after putting out six wicked albums. So, the Space Age Playboys is up and rolling, awesome news. Come north of the 49th Kory, Canada needs you!

AS hinted on the Iggy and the Stoogesish ha ha ha from Chill Pill,they are now sonic,obnoxious,loud punk. Drawing influnence from the Ramones and Iggy,this cd is loud,in your face and downright attitude. Some songs it works and some it does'nt,like for example the Image-the sleaze that they fought againist and preached againist,now they embrace/even though it's tongue and cheek,it's not Warrior Soul. Rocket Engines is them,it's smart lyrics and mean beats and attitude. The cd is definately great,but the Image is the one down-point. Amphetamine rock 98

How the fuck is it 1998 and I just heard of this incredible band. These fucking record companies suck. Just when I finally here something worth buying, Ifind out that they are over. Well Warrior Soul, RIP. and fuck you Green Day Offspring Pearl Ja m and the rest of you no talents!!!!

This album introduced me to one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever. Great album. After this record I grabbed every record I have seen by this band. Salutations. I just picked up Chill pill. Haven''t been disappointed yet. Now I must have every record. Why I have never even heard of them is mystifying. What is amazing is crap like Matchbox 20 and other bands(?) like get constant radio play and push from their record companies. One day people will realize what they missed. Warrior Soul is not the first or wil they be the last great BAND to be overlooked. I for one will miss em'' I hear Kory has got a new band. There is still hope.

The fifth and best album to date by the NYC acid punkers Warrior Soul. Anyone into the Buzzcocks, Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, Ramones, etc. should check this album out. It says in the bio that "the Space Age Playboys is a shiny, color-filled shot of fast culture sure to impress even the tightest arses of the world.
