After the death of Cobain, I wanted to die. This CD changed my life. It gave me new hope. I previously disliked bands headed by females, but Belly changed my whole way of thinking. It opened my mind to a whole new style of music. When my friend talked me into buying King my life changed for the better. My favorite CD in my entire collection, followed by Star.

When I first heard this album I was bit disapointedd, it was the first day I had bought it at 9:05 and I thought It's not as good as Star. It is a really subtle album give it a chance. I now rate it higher than Star...My fave track is Silverfish....Check it out.

Tanya Donelly is not human... she is a godess and musical genius. I consider myself blessed to have finally seen her in St. Louis in October of 1995. King and Star are two of the best albums ever recorded.... words escape me!!

Belly easily avoid the sophomore jinx with King. This time around it is a group effort instead of just a Tanya Donelly talent show. Unfortunately not as varied as `Star` but good none-the-less.I give it 9/10.
