Comments for White Zombie, The Astro Creep: 2000 - Songs Of Love, Destruction And Other Synthetic Delusions Of The Electric Head

Thought this album was much heavier than the last, loved it, and reccomend it. It's like a cross between NIN and Pantera.

I'm wondering if anyone has any input about the "samples" used on the "Astrocreep" album. Are they sampled from actual vintage horror films, or are they created from scratch? If they are real samples, which I doubt is the case, can anyone name the films. I would be in your debt. Thanks.

It is an excellent album. I think it is a great improvement over the last attempt and highly recommend it to any true alternative/heavy metal fan.

White Zombie: ASTRO-CREEP:2000 Rules whoooo!

For those of you who just can't get enough of the word "yeah" this is gonna be great album. For the rest of us, the brainless lyrics and weak playing will make this one slightly less enjoyable. Totally sucks.

White Zombie, for me, has always been one of those bands who put out some fantastic songs, as well as an equal or greater number of really lousy ones...Ah well.. Anyhow - For the person who was wondering about the Samples on this album.. I can't remember the majority of them.. I know for a fact that the "i'm already dead, hold you hands in some stupid symbols etc etc burn an X in your head" is all from one of the manson Girls in an interview I saw on A&E a month or so ago.. And I know I've heard the "I walk the line" and "i just said up yours baby!" ones elsewhere.. I'm pretty positive most or all the samples are found elsewhere and not made up..

"Get up an Kill" from Night Of the Living Dead II They''re from scratch, but the lines are taken from movies. Avoids copyright shit
I classified this as noise because it could be under just about anything: metal, alternative, industrial. This is probably as good as La Sexorcisto. A good CD and worth the money too.
