Comments for Whitesnake, SLIP OF THE TONGUE

Should have been titled "Coverdale Vai", Steve''s input is easily discernable to any who know his particular style of playing. A good album, but getting too distant from the much better earlier, more bluesey, albums. Worth a listen.

I think Whitesnake`s previous albums were better than this one. But this is a matter of taste, I guess. This is still a goodrecord, featuring some hard rock songs (`Now you`re gone` isprobably most known) and some fairly good ballads (`Sailingships`, `The deeper the love`).
