"American music" in the same sense the Blasters used the term. A country twang here, a folkie remembrance there, but Sweet Old World is all pared down, intelligent rock & roll at it''s most unpretentiously fine. The cheesy farfissa like organ makes me smile everytime I hear the cd. & Gurf Morlix is one of the most tasteful guitarists around in any genre.

Album is a mixture of country, folk, and blues from the Louisianna native. From start to finish this album is a winner combining energetic uptempo numbers alongside several thought-stimulating ballads.
