Comments for Wire, The Peel Sessions Album

Peel sessions often brought out the best in Wire. In every case the tracks are very different to their album counterparts, mostly due to the fact that Wire played new stuff on Peel that was yet to be officially released. Their final session produced "Crazy About Love" a fifteen minute soundscape rather than the usual three or four tracks.

Why couldn''t all of their stuff be recorded at the Peel Sessions? These versions of their songs are the better sounding than their album counterparts. They really changed a few of them, like "The Other Window" when it was put on 154. I don''t know why they changed it.
