"Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch" parodies Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" "Like a Surgeon" parodies Madonna's "Like a Virgin" "Dare to Be Stupid" was used in "Transformers: The Movie" and appears on that soundtrack.

"I Want a New Duck" is a parody of Huey Lewis and the News' "I Want a New Drug" "Yoda" is a parody of the Kinx's "Lola"

Overall, Dare to Be Stupid isn't quite as listenable as some of the newer albums like Alapalooza or Bad Hair Day, but some tracks definitely stand out, like Dare to Be Stupid, I Want a New Duck, One More Minute, Yoda, and This Is the Life. Also, the polka on this album, "Hooked on Polkas", isn't as good as some of Al's other Polkas. Overall, it's an excellent album and I highly recommend it.

This is by far Al''s best. Yoda is his best song Bad Hair Day can''t compare with this.This is one of the best with the Who''s Next We''re Only in it For the Money & the White Album.Maybe not that high but in the top 100 great albums.
