The first album of yaz(oo) is the best of Vince Clarke, and the song "Only You" is a great ballade, the song "Situation" is a great sinteatizer-song.

I remember first listening to this album and I think it is still as good as the first time more than ten years later. One of the classic groundbreaking synthetic albums of the 80's along with DARE(Human League). Alison Moyet's voice has never been captured so well as on this album. Special faves include In My Room and ..... oh well the whole bloody album. C'est Magnifique!

Yazoo rules! I have butt-loads of yaz and yazoo 12 inches, cd's and stuff. I even have a red 7 inch (german) of the other side of love. vince rocks! nobody even comes close.

I dug up some old high school tapes the other day and came across some Yaz songs. Im guessing I made this mixed tape years ago, maybe in 85. I loved it, the early alternative keyboard sound is magic. Im asking my wife for a Yaz Cd now for X-mas.
