Not a bad follow-up to TALK. After all these years, YES is still rockin''!!! YES FOREVER!!!!
Yes is somewhat reduced to the oldies-novelty act on thisalbum (eg. Moody Blues, Journey, REO Speedwagon, etc.). But it`s not that they`re consciously trying to re-capturetheir 80s popularity; this 80s-flavored music is actuallytheir idea of modern 90s pop, which makes it so odd (eg.Boston`s last album, Journey`s last album). Close comparisonsto Big Generator are not exaggerated. Lyrics are Yes`s worstin their entire career (Billy Sherwood, formerly from WorldTrade, writes extremely empty lyrics), but the music sparklesoccasionally. The worst of the lot are the pointless "Manin the Moon", the regurgitated "Somehow, Someday", and theannoying noise at the end of the cd.
