Yoakam remains one of my favorite singer/songwriters. This album displays Yoakams powerful and mysterious voice on a collection of excellent tracks. Yoakam won a Grammy for his Ain't That Lonely Yet, which he wrote with the legendary songwriter Kostas. Yoakams own writing excels of Two Doors Down, and Home For Sale where you can hear the emotion and pain of the song through the great writing and even better singing. Yoakam offers a diverse selections of songs including the quirky Pocket of a Clown, and the bitter tune Fast As You - "Someday I'll Be as Fast You, Someday I'll break hearts too" The songs are unparalelled and there doesn't appear to be anybody 'faster' than Dwight Yoakam in country today.

One of the best non-live Dwight albums. White Cadillac is a good one too.
Love his voice on This Time.
