Hard Rock?...... No. Rating of 9 out of 10?...... Double no. However, it is pretty cool in it's own little way. I hope for all the justice in the world this isn't the first album a new Neil Young fan buys, cause they'll be dissapointed. It does have signature Young riffs though. Only for hardcore fans and people that listen to relaxation tapes who like the sound of electric guitar.

One should watch the movie that goes with the music. I am sure that the music reflected Neil's feelings and emotions when he was watching the video of what the director shot. When one watches the film and listens to Neil's music they will realize what an outstanding job Neil did in communicating the emotion that is delivered by thhe trip this movie takes you on. It really is hard to put words on what the music does to the human when delivered in such a way.

This is an interesting album for the first few times through, though gets a little boring after a few listens. Only hardcore fans should consider buying it, and will only enjoy it for a few times. No singing involved, just guitar playing. Good one to have in the collection, though you won''t be reaching for it much.
Check out the review at Neil Young (alphabetically under "N"). Basically this is a soundtrack album full of long, slowguitar solos in the classic Neil style. There are no actualsongs and no track listings, but is worth a listen forserious fans.

Classic Neil Young - apparently not well understood by those born after 1970-I am a die hard Neil Young fan since Buffalo Springfield. Music went great with the film.
