Comments for Zazou, Hector, Songs From The Cold Seas

Another Zazou chef d''oeuvre! The French edition of the CD contains ''postcards'' relating to each track (i.e. the musicians, the origin of the song and personal comments from Hector himself). These inclusions double the thickness (and the weight) of the CD. The American version has omitted them. The only drawback (if you don''t speak the language)is that the notes are written exclusively in French. But the presentation is much more beautiful than its American version. It is an album more experimental than Sahara Blue and, hence, less accessible to the masses. Still "The Long Voyage" could have made it to the pop charts.
