Comments for Nevil, Robbie, Day 1

E-MAIL: dflowers@loyola.edu
This album, already out of print, was hardly noticed when it came out in 91', but is a fabulous recording and well-produced record. Robbie Nevil is another multitalented singer/guitarist that, due to lack of radio airplay, does not get the credit he deserves. "Welcome to the Party" is the highlight on the record along with a smooth cover of Stevie Wonder's "Tell me something good."This was Nevil's first album in which he produced himself and it allows him to display his great guitar and songwriting skills. This is the one to own for diehard Robbie Nevil fans-you won't be disappointed.Hopefully, this won't be the last from Nevil-he deserves more recognition in the music industry.

Very sexy. It has to hold us over until the next release.
Good selection of songs reminiscent of a Richard Marx album.

well, I hafta say that, ignoring the rest of the album, I'd happily pay $20 for The Same Old Song alone...wonderful blues song. This guy can really sing, his guitar is well up to what's required, but his timing and his soul are priceless. Grab a listen and then buy the album just because.
