This is a creative CD with passionate lyrics and sincere vocals. Rolling Stone Magazine has described this work as deceptively seductive, with the listener being drawn in closer with each play. The songs interweave a New Orleans theme. Guest appearances are made by the Neville Brothers, Neil Young, and Bruce Hornsby. Two members of The Band, Garth Hudson and Rick Danko, also appear.
