Martin Scorsese turns a concert into a visually breathtaking montage of color and light. The film wouldn't have been half the masterpiece it is if the performance or the artists were of any lesser quality though. The Dylan segment is amazing,as well as the Joni Mitchell and the Neil Young scenes are. ....and the Band performing "The Weight" with the Staple Singers is worth the price of admission alone.
