Comments for Band, the, Cahoots

The first Band album to receive less than dazzling reviews. Many highlights on the album however. Most notably the duet with Van Morrisson "4% Pantomime" that he co-wrote with Robbie Robertson. Allen Toussaint`s horn arrangements also add a lot to this album. It was the horns that also gave "Rock Of Ages," the Band`s double live gem from the following year an added punch. Overall a very good record.
