Comments for Eckel, William, The Patriot Project

A look at American society in the nineties. You`ll laugh, cry, get angry and be proud to be an American. PoliticallyCorrect need not apply. Reminiscent of the protest songs ofthe Seventies.

Great CD!!! Much better than LIVING ON BEANS by The Incorrect Band, in my opinion, especially in terms of the lyrics. The only complaint I have is in terms of the sound quality, which is a little spotty. I have to turn the volume up on my system to get the same degree of volume that I would usually get. Maybe they have corrected this defect by now, though. I ordered mine way back in December of '96, so it was probably the first edition. I hope more people start to find out about this album, because it's really great. But it seems like the information isn't getting out there. Paul from PokerFace said he'd never even HEARD of these guys!!!-----Charlie O'Lanahan. Oliver Springs, Tennessee.

I just want to point out that I made those PREVIOUS comments PRIOR to September 11. And that, NOW...frankly, I could GIVE A RAT'S ASS. ;) "Rend thine HEARTS and NOT thy garments."-----Hawthorne's Ghost.

OK...that last statement was a little harsh, and, perhaps a bit melodramatic as well. I guess what I meant to say was that, living in the RADICALLY DIFFERENT Amerika that we find ourselves in, post-9/11, a CD like this just doesn't seem to have that much RELEVANCE. Basically, it's ancient history. But...for what it's worth, I still think it's a good CD. And best of luck for the future, Bill. I hope you're still wide awake and paying attention and haven't sold your brain to the enemy like so many other so-called "patriots" in the wake of this tragedy. We need more people telling it like it is.---Charlie. (Wasn't the "Hawthorne's Ghost" bit a pretentious crock of shit? lol.)
