Comments for Weber And The Buzztones, WEBER AND THE BUZZTONES

I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THESE GUYS WERE COMING FROM OR WHERETHEY WENT TO. I USED TO HAVE A T-SHIRT OF THEIRS. THIS IS EXCELLENT, FUN, NEW WAVE STYLED MUSIC. VERY BIZARRE. IF YOU CAN FIND THIS ALBUM, BUY IT. "I WAS A MOOG PLAYER, WHENMOOG PLAYING WASN`T COOL."
OLD ALBUM, SOMEHOW GOT A COPY OF A CASSETTE, VERY RARE ONE OF THE BAND MEMBERS NAMES WAS KEN RILEY WHO WENT ON TO BE IN THE BAND "COMMON BOND"
I was the drummer in Weber and the Buzztones The leader was Laryn Weber. He now lives in Rocklin, CA We never could get the right record deal, but had a lot of fun opening for all of the big names when they did the west coast. Write more if you want to talk more. Tom Cheshire

Weber and the Buzztones had several drummers, among whom were Tom Cheshire and Mike Tuuri. Mike Tuuri did most of the live drum work for Weber when they toured with bands like Steve Taylor and Some Band, Daniel Amos and Randy Stonehill until he was replaced in 1984 or 1985. Among Weber's keyboard players were Glen Rapoza, Tim Watt, Nelson DeMarco, Tom Pacho, and Mike Archuletta. Bass players ranged from Mike Spragge on the original recording of Lamb Chops, to some of the keyboard players mentioned above.
