One of the best modern country/western albums ever made, making Shania Twain not only Canada''s biggest country singer but the biggest female country star ever in terms of sales. This album has both a modern and down-home feel. Shania has not only a model-look but a sexy, playful, gritty, heart-felt, and smooth voice. More than 6 big hit singles, many of them to be classics. "Any Man Of Mine" is sassy and so-fun, toe-tapping and line-dancing fun. She proves she is strong but also loving. The best ballad is the very sensual "The Woman In Me". On THE WOMAN AND ME, Shania proves she is modern but does not (thankfully) stray too far from down-home country music, not like some stars like LeAnn Rimes whose music sounds closer to pop than her original hope. Certainly a top-notch country album, a must-have for ANY country fan.
