This is a brilliant recording by a 26 yr. old musical genius, Greg Wells. Playing almost every instrument, singing, writing, and producing the record, Wells is the force behind Silas Loder. This is a great CD of brainy/brawny songs sure to please fans of edgy rock and roll. The great k. d. lang adds her voice on track #6, "Lay of the Land". Check this record out.

GREAT GREAT ALBUM!!!!!!! It's about time I heard something different. "Advice" is sure to become a rock classic. Who is this guy Greg Wells. Where has he been? Don't exactly know why, but I really dug the song "Record Deal". Great vocals. Does anyone know who the backup singer was on that cut? Already can't wait for the next album..

This record is amazing! I havent heard a record with this much energy, great guitar tones and playing ever. It truley stands alone. Greg's talent and originality speaks for itself. Buy It!!!!!!!

A KILLER ALBUM... what can I say? From start to finish, Silas Loder's first album is already a classic in my books. I also echo rweinber's comments. The backing vocals on Record Deal are a real treat. If only I knew who did them... BUY THE ALBUM € buy the album € BUY THE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after hear the last song which comes on after the record appears to be over, i realized this is a very hip artist, not your everyday type "so-called" artist. my favorite song is "fry". "a town near the end of the world" sounds like a classic..... and turn your "knob" all the way to the right on "lay of the land" and start the party.........dig......

Hello everyone. My name is Mrs. Bee Applebottom and I am very proud to say that I was Gregory's Grade 1 school teacher. And what a thrill it was to hear Gregory's new album! Even back then, it was clear Gregory would become a musician. He used to pretend he was playing drums with pencils on the head of the student sitting in front of him in class (Charlie Machperson I believe...a fine boy). And sometimes he would play the major scale for the class (ascending and descending)...uh..how should I say this...uh...out of his tiny bottom (if you know what I mean).... and with such fine pitch too! Oh..I hope Greg wouldn't be emabarassed by this story...I love Gregory's album. My personal favourite is "Deflator Mouse". Oooohh it really rocks (and I love animals). Gregory, if you read this I would like you to know how proud we all are of you back home. And what a handsome boy you turned out to be! Please come and visit next time you are home. Bye bye Gregory.

This CD is GREAT! Incredible songs, incredible musicianship, and all-round incredible.
