Comments for McCartney, Paul, Off the GroundE-MAIL: Spiderman I have never heard the album, but I like "Hope Of Deliverance"E-MAIL: rsuarez@bellsouth.net an interesting album of hits and misses. the title track is a very catchy song that really should have been a bigger success. "hope for deliverance" is a pop masterpiece. a truly great song and terribly underrated. "looking for changes" at least has its heart in the right place. but after that only "mistress and maid" (again collaborating with elvis costello), "get out of my way", and the cool "biker like an icon" (great guitar riff) are really stand out cuts. the rest is just plain ordinary. like "flowers" before it, what''s good with album is really good, the rest sounds like filler. shrug. Hope of Deliverance and I Owe it All to You are my favs...flows well as an album...excellant collectionComments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
