Comments for Head East, Get Yourself Up

E-MAIL: rally@vonl.com
"Get Yourself Up" is, IMHO, the best of several great albums put out by this underappreciated band. If it EVER gets released on cd, BUY IT! "When I Get Ready" and "Monkey Shine" are the only cuts that made it on the live album, so most people haven''t heard many of these great songs. From "Separate Ways," a reflection back to a childhood sweetheart, to "The Victim," which features some of the finest guitar work ever to be recorded, this album rocks you and captivates you with it''s hooks and harmonies. The harmonies on "I Don''t Want The Chance" and "Jailer" put Queen to shame! John Schlitt''s vocals are fantastic! This album is in my top 5 all time greatest albums!
