What were they thinking? What is this commercial A side all about? Sabbath fans, but the first album, Black Sabbath! It' s FAR superior!

If anyone wants to hear a newer cover version of planet caravan buy "far beyond driven" by pantera. I haven't heard the original black sabbath version of the song, but I like pantera's version. I would like to hear the black sabbath one and am thinking of buying the album. If anyone has heard both the pantera version and the black sabbath one, feel free to E-mail me and tell me which one you liked better-I'm curious.

They pretty much despense with the blues from the first album here and come up with some of their finest tunes ever. The horror vibe is even more prevelent, and the lyrics are excellent commentaries on various dark subject matter. Also, the band inserts some nice instrumental passages among the tunes. "War Pigs" and the spooky "Planet Caravan" are highlights, along with the popular tracks "Paranoid" and "Iron Man". However, the album is a consistent piece that deserves to be listened to in one sitting.

This is Sabbath's strongest album and one of the greatest in metal history. What is up with the low rating? Dopes....
