Comments for Daltrey, Roger, Rocks In The Head

This is a really excellent album, where Roger finally has the chance to display his writing abilities. (He himself admitted that he can`t do it as well or as often as some, but when he does, he`s good.)There are two songs that I like in particular: Perfect World and Everything a Heart Could Ever Want (Willow). They are simple wishes and comments, and rather touching. On Everything a Heart..., Jamie Daltrey does the backing vocals.Days of Light was a hit when this album came out (you could hear it on the radio once a day), and I still suprise people when I tell them who did it. ("Roger Daltrey did that song? You`re kidding!")This album also demonstrates a little frustration or pessimisn he may have been feeling at the time. He had not been doing much up until the album, and it was in 1993 that he and John Entwistle and Pete Townshend began to touragain (the tour was called "Roger Daltrey: A Celebration of the Music of Pete Townshend and the Who").Thanks!
