Comments for Rainbow, On stage

One of the best hard and heavy rock album (besides, ''Made in Japan'' from Deep Purple) ever release. Just great!

A great live album from start to finish. Catch the Rainbow is my all-time favorite song: no other song I've ever heard has the breadth this song has, from it's calm, melodic start and finish to the blazing solos in the middle of the song. This one song has it all, with some of rock's finest performers, Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, Ronnie James Dio on vocals, and the late Cozy Powell on drums. If I were stranded on a desert island, and could have only one CD to listen to, Rainbow On Stage would be it.
