This is it, guitar lovers. If you''ve got to own 1 rock guitar album, you''ve gotta own this one. A follow-up to the jazzier BLow By Blow, JB turned up his Marshalls up a few notches, and put out some of the most inspired rock playing of (shall I say it ) all time! From the menacing low rumbles in Come Dancing (never heard such a beautiful tone before or since), to the exquisite Goodbye Pork Pie Hat (which kinda reduces Charlie Mingus'' original to,well, lame), to...well, every track is a masterpiece. I don''t know how much George Martin had to do with getting Jeff''s sound, but you''ll never find a wider spectrum of tone anywhere. A top notch musical event in any category (jazz, blues, rock,etc), it''s unfortunate that stuff like this is not more accessible to the general public.
