Comments for Black Sabbath, Born again

Although much maligned, this album actually rocks. Some of their heaviest stuff is on here.

Where can I find this on disc? I have it on tape, but want it on CD. I think Ian should have stuck with sabbath for a few more albums, cause with Sabbath he could really let lose with his voice. You'd never hear a Deep Purple song with vocals like those on Hot Line.

I think Ian Gillan is one of the most under-rated singers of metal music. He is a lot better singer than Ozzy. Though most of Ian's music is about booze, women, and fast cars, he is still cool.

A company called Impulse Import Compact Discs has "Born Again" (remastered) on CD. Their address and phone #: 1609 W. County Road 42 #230; Burnsville, MN 55306; (612) 435-2953. Cost - $12.99 + $4.00 S/H. Hope this helps.

Despite what everyone else says or thinks, I did a damn good job on this record! Ok, I admit that the band chemistry wasn't the best, but 'Born Again' still has more great tracks than that YES album everyone keeps going on about.

This album is brilliant. Its probably the single biggest source of inspiration for Spinal Tap though.

This lone Ian Gillan release seems to have an odd cult following. I've listened to the album in its entirety numerous times and have never got the point I guess....BTW, saw this on the rack at Best Buy for $13.99.

The songs are not very good, but also Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy were very good though. The fact is that after Dio, Gillan has a difficult role. I have some bootlegs from that tour and there were very evil, dark, and many of the Ozzy's songs were incredible with Gillan, but the album is poor, as many other albums from many other bands... much better than 'Eternal Idol' or 'Seventh Star'. Puaaagghhh
