Comments for Loverboy, Get Lucky

TO SUM UP THIS CLASSIC EFFORT IN ONE WORD I WOULD SIMPLY USE: "MAGICAL". THE COMBINATION OF MIKE RENO''S ANGELIC VOCALS AND PAUL DEAN''S "WHO NEEDS ERIC CLAPTON" GUITAR LICKS MAKES THIS A STAPLE FOR ANY MUSIC COLLECTION. I''M 32 YEARS OLD AND I STILL SPROUT A PRETTY HEFTY ERRECTION WHEN I HEAR THE FIRST 3 SIGNATURE COWBELLS IN "WORKIN'' FOR THE WEEKEND" . GOD BLESS CANADA. Empiricists would argue that a truly "Utopian" environment cannot and should not exist, by virtue of equal parts individual perception and collective societal competitiveness. I say..."neigh"...Why? One need only to soothe one''s sensory emotions with the likes of poetry like this: "Whatchya gonna do?....whern it''s OVER?" What ARE you gonna do? Mr. Reno begs the question that so many of us complacent, apologistic erudites are wanting to ask, but simply don''t have the requisite staminas or headbands. What do I think of "Get Lucky"? If anything, I''d say WE as a music consumership are the ones that are truly "lucky". Oh Canada, indeed.....
Loverboy`s Get Lucky album is one of the best all around albums of all time... a true classic!
