This is Gloria's BEST album to date. The dance tracks of "Higher" and "You'll Be Mine (Party Time)" are as good as ever while the ballads like "Reach" and "Destiny" are some of the best she's done. This album is a clear winner!

I''v seen Gloria''s show last year (1996) in Utrecht in Holland. Not only her voice is heavenly but her latest album "Destiny" is full of songs that go straight to the heart. Keep on the good work and lots of health and happyness to you and your family. From a great fan of yours.

After two Spanish language releases and a `70`s concept album, "Destiny"is Gloria`s follow-up to "Into the Light." Nine of the 11 songs on thealbum are ballads; only "You`ll Be Mine (Party Time)" and "Higher" arereally danceable. All, including the 1996 Olympic anthem "Reach", havethat unique Gloria-world-beat -- no one else has that! I have alwaysloved Gloria`s ballads, but to be perfectly honest, a few of these songs-- "Show Me the Way Back to Your Heart" in particular -- need a littlemore lung and pipe power. Overall, though, it`s great Gloria.
