Comments for Slade, Till Deaf Do Us Part

ianedmundson@btinternet.com
Slade were just coming back from the dead in the UK after the success of Reading and decided to take on the so called New wave of British heavy metal at their own game. The truth is that they were faster, more energetic, more tuneful and were blessed with a sense of humour. Apart from M'hat, M'coat (which is 'House of the rising sun' slowed down) and Lock up your daughters (which is disqualified form honours for being a straight rewrite of 'Fool for your loving'), there isn't a clinker on the album. 8/10.
Produced by Slade. Hard rock. Contains one of the few instrumental tunes recorded by Slade.
