Regarding your entry on Alejandro Escovedo, you''re misisng his first album on Watermelon records which is called "Gravity". This is a wonderful album and every bit as good as "13 Years". Rykodisc has just released the new Alejandro cd called "With These Hands" which contains my personal favorite song - "Nickel and a Spoon". If you ever have the chance to see Alejancro and his orchestra in a live setting you should go. You will not be disappointed.

This album displays Escovedo`s amazing depth and talent asboth a songwriter and a performer. The songs range from all out rockers (Losing Your Touch) to incredible ballads (Thirteen Years) featuring his "orchestra". A local legend in Austin Texas - he deserves a much wideraudience.
