FTM is NKOTB's best albulm yet. Too bad most people did not give it the fair chance it deserved. I guess music consumers,in general, are more preoccupied with image and what their neighbors thinks than what really counts-----MUSIC. By the way, BILLBOARD gave the the two singles "DIRTY DAWG" & "NEVER LET YOU GO" raving reviews.

I personally think that NKOTB is the best group I have ever heard. I have been a fan of theirs for 8 years now, & even though thy have split up, I still think they are the best & deserve all the credit they deserve.

I am still disappointed this album didn't get the play that is deserves, because of the negative attitude towards the group that so many people hold. NKOTB brought a lot to the music world, and opened a lot of doors for younger people who want to make it in the entertainment industry. They deserve respect from everyone, not just their fans.

I thought this was the best album ever put out by NKOTB! People just didn't give it a chance because of their past history. Definitely give it a listen and give the guys the respect they deserve!!

NKOTB deserves a lot more credit for their work. These guys are great! I remember playing FTM for some of my friends and they were jamming to it. Of course when they found out that it was NKOTB they changed their minds.(typical) I can only hope to work with them someday.

I think NKOTB is the best. I've been a true fan since 1989. They are the best group that ever walked the earth. They are honest, and as nice as they come but people treated them like jerks that came to make their fast million. They deserve more credit than what they got.

I have recently started to listen to NKOTB again. I love them. My friend and I are trying to find FTM and are having no luck. I can't wait to find it. People laugh when we say we still listen to them. I think they need to start again and see why they loved them so much in the first place. The music hasn't changed, they have!

The guys did a great job with this one. I wish they did more albums like this.
E-MAIL: NKOTB STILL SUCKS!!!!
New Kids fans are losers!!! You think people won't care or remember you when you start listening to them once again, after many years of hiding? Well, guess again!!! What next?!?!?? You're gonna dust off the old Milli Vanilli albums and pop it into the player as well???? *** TAKE A LOOK AT THE LOW RATINGS DUMB BIMBOS, AND GET A CLUE!!!! *** THIS ALBUM SUCKS, AND YOU PEOPLE AR STILL LOSERS!!!!!
E-MAIL: Ditto...
This world will always be filled with stupid people until then end of time. The only reason why their records made it to the stores is because of studio magic- enhancing NKOTB's horrible voices, so that it'll sound mediocre on the finished product. Much has already been said about New Kids infamous crappy live performances. Touring is a necessity in any musical group's priority. Most people aren't aware of the fact that most of the money is made from performing live, not through the sale of albums. That's why KNOTB ceased to exist. Very seldom did they break even from their sales, and the more they went on stage the more likely that there was going to be some slip-ups and their Milli Vanilli-esque deception revealed. Therefore, the only reasonable option left for them was to call it quits.

They can't sing in real life. They don't even play any musical instruments. Technically, that wouldn't even qualify them as being musical.

You all are just jealous that you have nothing to hold on to in life. I agree that "Face the Music" was the best-yet album. I'm friends with some DJ's, and they said they were told not to air anything from the album, even though they personally thought the songs were air-worthy. It's just the NKOTB name that people shy away from; they don't even give the guys a chance! (I have to admit, though, that Danny was not too impressive on this album. Joe rocked, as always!!) Anyway, enough from me. I look forward to both Joe's and J's solo albums. I'm sure they'll be great, even if the general public snubs them!!
E-MAIL: The above person
is yet another idiot who has been fooled by the KNOTB scam of manufactured and doctored recordings. It was admitted by one of their producers sometime after their breakup that they did not "really" sing on their albums. You should find the real singers and give themn credit, instead. This is old news. Where have you been???
E-MAIL: Dave
I agree. New Kids' downfall really began with the notorious live appearance at Disneyworld in Florida, when it was obvious that they were lip-syncing. The timing of their lips moving were way off, and pops & glitches from the tape could be heard blaring out of the speakers. That's what happens when you use Radio Shack cassette tapes!!! Why people are dumb enough to fall for con jobs like this is beyond me. Rather than face up to reality, I guess some people would prefer to place themselves in a state of denial, in order to hold onto something that really isn't there. I take pity upon such individuals.

you know...if you don't like NKOTB, then why the fuck are you wasting your time commenting on their album??, especially if you didn't listen to it before. I also noticed how the ratings are down to 0.1, last time I checked it was about 9. So somebody, with obviously no life must have, repeatly voted zero for an insane number of times. Honey, your time is better spent masturbating to Spice Girl's "Wannabee"
E-MAIL: Fuck off, NKOTB/Spice Girl-loving assholes!!!
Yeah, and Milli Vanilli fans are also smart!!!!
E-MAIL: NKOTB Sucks!!!!
Check again. The ratings are now at -(minus) 5.0. That's how bad they suck, just like amajumda@students.uiuc.edu and the other loser NKOTB lovers.

Every musicain at one point or more lip-sync's.The New Kids did as they were told before they gained control over their musical career's. A lot of the music specail's you'll find had lip-synsing. Certain show's don't allow it for their own integrity. True fan's and not spiteful hateful people know the truth. The truth survives all. -Cherie L. King

They were fired at Disneyworld when it was discovered they had lip-synced because they couldn't sing. This is already old news. Where have you been all this time?

I admit some of thier eariler work had "holes" but "FACE THE MUSIC" is straight up smooth and DOPE. The track "Ms, RIGHT" is as soulfully and smooth as it gets. It''s better and can hang with any of todays wanna -be gantas and "hard" image that is plaguing todays R&B. Most people in the industry wouldn''t even know what it means too "KEEP IT REAL" NKOTB does as is stated, "FACE THE MUSIC".....Cool Carl Cee.......The Italian fella with sweet SOUL peace
The last release of NKOTB...the groupbroke up in the summer of 1995

Methinks some people should get their goddamn facts straight before they go mouthing off in public forums. Greg McPhearson, who started the whole lip syncing fiasco to begin with, was an embittered old buzzard with his own revenge agenda...and eventually exposed for the lying son of a mongerel he was. This was YEARS ago, by the way--just where the blue fuck have y'all been? Now, while it's true NKOTB often used prerecorded vocal tracks in their lives shows, the voices heard on said tracks were quite obviously THEIR OWN. I attended an NKOTB concert when I was twelve (got my first period during the show, too...ah, memories), and while their music may be the sonic equivalent of a cheesy poof, their onstange performances were complex, exciting, and--all things considered--beautifully innovative. Their art might have been mediocre at best, but they were consummate entertainers--and anyone who says otherwise can suck my figurative balls. For the record, Face the Music was a decent album--not spectacular, not brilliant, but GOOD at the very least. Jordan's vocal stylings are tart and crisp as a Granny Smith apple, with Donnie's energetic raps adding a brittle nuance to most of the tracks. The music and lyrics, if simplistic, are well-arranged and delivered with spirit. "Keep on Smilin'" is--in my opinion--the standout track, as energetic as "Dirty Dawg" or "You Got the Flavor" and twice as soulful as any of the (virtually indistinguishable) ballads. All the requisite bullshit sniping and snide remarks aside, this was NKOTB's magnum opus--their final attempt to sever their strings and cry out for indepencence, respect, and credibility. Unfortunately, the cry was either never heard or quickly silenced. Only when they separated and considered themselves outside the confines of the group could they truly evolve into what they should have been all along. Yes, it's a damn sad story. But at least they're working on a happy ending.
I wonder if we could rally the group to re release mixed or changed up versions of the songs Never let you go was awesome and still sounds good . . I dont care if dirty dawg sounds dated or not, I still get down to it... if anyone doesn't know - check out their blogs here http://nkotb.com/blog/2008/08/ lets use this to get them to at least play the songs at thier shows..?? maybe ... I agree this album didn't get the attention it deserved. .

I agree this album didn't get the attention it deserved. . they lip synced for non concert shows to save (mainly Jordan's) voices for the actual concerts that fans WERE PAYING for. . . they had some 200 performances a year .. . give them a f-ing break. . . this is what many many artists do at any awards show or of course the music videos. . . i mean c'mon after all that and we sit back and watch f-ing britney spears , nsync and B Street boys do it and bluntly obvious on the same damn shows?!?! get it together people. . . ok for some not for all..? it's industry standard to handle things exactly as they did. . . but everyone was ready to let em go so any excuse was acceptable. . . it is a damn sad story. . . but hopefully they'll bring it in this comeback. . .
