Comments for Buckethead, The Day of the Robot

Also I maight add that while guitar is not that prominent in this disc, "Quantum Crash" showcased Bucket's piano playing (or Ninj's or Laswell's?), "Caution Drop" is the track of which Bucket's guitar playing morph with Ninj's Jungle beats and Laswell's dub bass. It's the same Buckethead we always loved with a wicked beat. Also look out for the recurring industrial rhythm in Caution Drop which sounds suspiciously similar to a track called "Subhuman", from the Subharmonic release "Doom Ride" by Chaos Face.

The Day of the Robot is a change from the last 2 Buckethead albums (Bucketheadland and Giant Robot). The first song Destroyer is the same bone crunching guitarriffs that Buckethead is used to. The rest of the album is mostly Rythm tracks and keyboard created by Ning. You`ll hardly ever hear guitars. Bill Laswell`s Low Bass helps to the techno feel.
