Yup, another great BR album. I've got to rate it a 9.0, also. Five Days and Casino were soooo good. It was hard to get any BR here in Idaho for a few years, so it's really good to have two outstanding albums available as soon as they have been. How does NtH sound? Much like Five Days, with a couple songs that remind me of Diamond Mine. Greg gets even better with time-- check out Brown-Eyed Dog, and Jim sings a stunning Blew it Again (marketing tip: release it in U.S.).

This is a more difficult CD to get into, but with repeated listenings, I now love it! I can't understand why BR doesn't get airplay on AAA stations in the States. With songs like Blew It Again, Armor, Get Through To You, and Better Off As We Are, I don't see why they are not as popular as Hootie & the Blowfish!!!

Great album--I got it in my local (Toledo) record store so it is trickling into the states. One question I have is why are they being labeled as country music? On the cassette it says "file under rock" so the original reviewer should have respected that. They get airplay on "alternative" rock stations in Canada (at least the ones I can tune in) and I even once saw a video for 'Til I am Myself Again' on MTV's alternative 120 Minutes. Sorry to kvetch, but I don't like country music and I love Blue Rodeo!

It has taken me quite a while to warm up to this CD (loved all their previous stuff instantly) but now I love it.
This CD is a definite departure from the usual Blue Rodeo. It has some odd sounds and what sound like reverse loopsto give the album a somewhat psychedelic sound at times. Some of the songs, (Gregs`) are morose in character, and theseare contrasted by Jim`s different style. Overall a good mix. I like the song `Save Myself`...it just fits my life right now.A good addition to your collection.
