An excellent band, been looking for more stuff by them: I only have one EP "4": Home, Honeychild, Freakshow & Country.

this band is the best band EVER to come out of N.Ireland. Dodge has the vocals and the charisma that can carry any crowd. Alan plays base as if he is God (by the way he is). Benny moves through his chords with such ease it matches his personality. Matt plays drums as if he were possessed. This is the most happening band ever to come from N.Ireland, with a huge following, (i remember all thoses saturday nights in the Errigal Inn), they went to America and were transformed by too many influnces. Hey Dodge, Alan, Benny, Matt, FUCK everything else u lot are the best together. U stuck together through thick and thin. Reform and give a lot of fans a heel of a lot of pleasure. By the way i''ve got a lot of pics of u all in the ERRIGAL

Life Under Giants has to be one of the top albums of all time. It has been sad to see the once great band dwindle down to just Dodge (who is very talented in his own right) on a home recorder from their once great stature. There's absolutely nothing wrong with bare bones recording, it's just hard to see a giant turn into a skeleton. Aside from their recording(s), the musicians themselves were as generous as they are talented and left an indelible impression on me. I was lucky enough to see them perform live on one occassion in Tulsa, Oklahoma shortly after Life was released (which they let me videotape) and on another subsequent visit as The Sunday Club, where the cast had thinned its ranks, although they were still excellent. It's sad to have lost them but, Dodge is still around (check out his solo album: Dodge - The Sound of Waves) and two c.d.'s.
