i thought i'd write since no one else did. i haven't heard the album but i do own a bootleg of the two playing at jerry's home. bluegrass and folk were a major part of the amazing garcia's musical background, so you can't go wrong with it.

Great CD by two greats. Nice mixture of Dead tunes, Dawg music, folk, jazz & bluegrass. Two amazing tracks are "Grateful Dawg" & "Arabia" A must have CD!

Those cynics who continually cry that Jerry was uninspired by the time of such albums as ''In the Dark'' and ''Built to Last'' need go no further than this amazing CD. Garcia''s acoustic guitar playing literally jumps out of the speakers, as does Dawg''s mandolin, and the subtle bass/percussion work. Also, Jerry''s vocal performance, while sounding quite world-worn, is also his best from the ''90s (studio at least).
