Bjørnstad is a piano player (and author and lots of otherthings) from Norway who submits stringent ECM-style `jazz` along with Terje Rypdal (gtr), David Darling (cello) and Jon Christensen (drms) which was, like many of the ECM label`s releases, recorded at a studio in the Grünerløkka area in Oslo.
