This Album is indicative of the New Wave erra, or error, however you percieve it: New Wave at it`s best and worst. Even the worst songs are tolerable after listening to them a few times. Most of "Sons of Sahara" is movie tension music at its best though quite intelligent (it took me a while to get used to it, but I grew to like it very much.) The entire album is reminescent OMD and hints at a Devo skeleton evolving to such bands like Tears for Fears. The songs roll and move like fluid with enchanting melodies and soothing voices then jerk you into moods you never imagined. Great album!
