I've heard a lot of people say this sounds like REM but to me, it doesn't. If it does, I think they show a part of REM I have never heard. The whole entire disc to me is really excellent!

Agree their is an REM influence - but this band also mines the Nirvana/Soul Asylum axis and then "sweetens" their sound up w/a little Matthew Sweet-like vocals and guitars on one song. Saw them live recently, post-car crash, and, as a trio, they have definitely hardened their sound.

It's Eskimo Sandune, not sundae, and why aren't there any decent For Squirrels pages?

I heard that For Squirrels has changed their name to Subrosa and is going to release a new album in May ''97. If you have any info, please e-mail me!
Good Album. Good variety of styles mixed into one band. The only weakness is that it sounds too REM-ish at times.

this is probably the best all-round cd i've ever bought. a total rocker, i can't help but sing along to every track even though i don't know all the words. It sounds like they FELT what they were playing, which is a big rarity these days. Fucking awesome album.
