I said this about the portishead album too, but the style is wrong! Some people have no idea!!!! I'd say more sort of indie rocky type stuff, sort of maybe. V. Good

This is one of very few really original albums to be released in recent years. The Boo's received excellent reviews for a very good reason: this record is intelligent, original, and has obviously had a great deal of work put into it. Its instant appeal may be debatable, taking any of the songs out of context of the album makes them sound a little lacklustre, or too 'weird' to bother with, but as an album I would rate this attempt very highly, and look forward to see which way the Boo's will develope next. Ignorant single minded bastard

Really truly excellent album ! Grunge???????????????????????????????????? What are you on? Indie/alternative with dangerous hints of the Beatles. Check out the new album - Wake UP!

A wonderful example of early 90's [pop, "Giant Steps" brought the Boo Radleys critical acclaim without commericial success. It's a shame, too, because few better songs have ever been written than the brilliant "Lazurus". Take a chance on "Giant Steps", you won't regret it.

I thought the same thing too - grunge?, no way Pedro!! This is an album that makes Sgt Peppers, Pet Sounds, Forever Changes et al seem one dimensional. If only it had been more of a commercial success, but that, perhaps, is where its real beauty lies in that it's a little known gem!

Hi I've been skimming through websites that mention The Boo Radley's 'Giant Steps'. The album will be ten years old in a couple of weeks and we are doing a ten year anniversary site (aplogies if you already know this) We are inviting people to send in their thoughts, comments, anything on the album to be included on the site. So if you wantto write something please send it to giantsteps@bravecaptain.co.uk. I've left all this really late, it has to be in by this Friday, 22nd August. If you can contribute, I would be very grateful. love bravecaptain x
