The mastermind behind Torch Song is, of course, the ingeniousWilliam Orbit who`s creative, electronic techniques onthis album have many people baffled to this day as to"How`d he do that?!". This album is chock full of excellentsongs, complex sequences, and beautiful vocal by LaurieMayer. ---Very Good. Highly Recommended.

This album is like no other and if you like the BEST in 80's synth and production and have a good Hi-Fi, then get hold of a copy of this album. It's about time it was released on CD. A track was included in the 80's film 'Batchelor Party' If you like 'Yello' then you will like this album! Try also 'Colourbox' by Colourbox

Recently I upgraded my pc to a 24 bit sound card. The first album I recorded to pc was Wish Thing. This album sounds amazing due to this process. The next step for me is to make a surround sound version. Pity there was no official cd release as it is one of my favourite albums. So many layers of audio. I get lost in this many times.
