This is an absolutly fantastic album. 10 out of 10 and it is my album of 1996 (as 1997 is only literally hours old. What more can I say but listen to the great lyrics, and intersting production styly of this album. Gus

Eclectic collection of 16 songs (actually, 3 are non-songs). They range from simple ballads to hard rock to country rock. David Lowery of Cracker had a major role in this album although the band Sparklehorse is really Mark Linkous. Apparently, Mark recorded most if not these songs on his 4 track equipment at his home in rural central Virginia. Most were re-recorded with better quality equipment after he got record company support.
